I’ve seen some post it can stand with colonel EH Taylor, this is not the case. As it is a good bourbon, it is a tad over oaked which brings a heavy tanin and spice. I think of it as a top level mixer, but not a stand alone sipper unless your 3 glasses in and have lit up a maduro.
